With a tank-sized love for life and endless slobbery kisses to give, our Olde English Bulldog boy Rocky is looking for his foster or furever family to share and enjoy with. Rocky weighs just under 60 pounds and is only 4 years old, and he has walked a tough road. He found himself in the Tulare County shelter after he was attacked by another dog; he suffered several severe puncture wounds and his humans did not want to pay for his recovery. The shelter fixed him up and there he sat in a kennel waiting and eager for his fresh start at life. Sadly, months went by and nobody came to adopt Rocky. The longer he sat in the shelter the more introverted and anxious he became, so much so that the shelter was going to euthanize him. Thankfully, one of our volunteers saw his plea on Facebook; we followed it closely and when nobody stepped up to help him we knew we had to!! It's obvious that Rocky is incredibly grateful to be free from the kennel life he lived in the shelter. He prances with and exudes joy and his love for life is completely contagious. He is a healthy boy weighing 59lbs and he is absolutely gorgeous. His coat is so soft and silky with beautiful brindle markings. Due to his struggles at the shelter, we are looking for a foster or furever home where Rocky can be the only dog and he can share all of his love with his humans. Rocky is ready to explore the world and make up for the lost time spent in the shelter! An active outgoing family would be a perfect fit for Rocky- walking, hiking, fetch, adventure, you name it Rocky is ready for it! He has a super-sized heart and the purest soul. His enthusiasm for life is undeniable and surely infectious. He has captured the hearts of all our volunteers!! Rocky is a total lover and he is so eager to please and share his love with a family.
